Mac Pro won't shut down under OSC El Capitan

Hi guys

So I'm having with try to shut my Mac under OSX El Capitan 10.11.5.

For some reason if i try to shut down my MAC via the apple icon it just restarts and i get a pop up window saying "Your mac restarted because of a problem" etc etc.

This also happens when i do a standard restart.

The only way i'm able to shut down my MAC is to log out and then shut down from the login page.

After trawling the internet to resolve the issue i found on some forums that it could be a problem with...
