need help with LIBDVDCSS...

am trying to install LIBDVDCSS

I followed the instructions, using terminal etc. I got asked for the password (so far so good, right?) and I entered the prescribed command.

it seemed to be doing something ... and it didn't return with an error message.

So can I assume that it worked?

is there any way to check if LIBDVDCSS is properly installed?

do I need to restart the whole system?
